How long does a light bulb usually last?

Question:

Answers:
a lightbulb can last from 4-6 months depending on the brand :)...GE (general electric) tends to last very long.

It depends on the price you pay for it (buy a good one), on how much your electricity fluctuates and you are not putting a higher wattage then is called for. We've replaced bulbs as fast as every second day. Normally I would say 4 months to a year.
