Best way to get rid of mosquitos?
Question:we use to get off mosquito PowerPad's but those are like $6 for 3 now!

It seems you have alot of answers for immediate measures. For long term I would install a bat house. They are simple to build and plans are on the internet. Just some hints - Use rough woods (no stains or glues). Install house on a tree or pole approx 15' in the air with the front facing north or south. Using natural wood with no stain or glues will probably bring them in quicker than having all the smells from finishing material. This is what we are going to do this week. We cannot go out in our backyard in the summer the mosquitoes are so bad. Eliminate breeding areas - Standing water. Good Luck!

also i heard that they don't like bananas so you could eat a bunch before going out.
Tea tree oil
There was a mosquito reppellent spray that you put around your home but I don't know if that exists anymore. Check Lowe's Make make sure there is no standing water around your home!! That is how they breed.

Mosquitos don't like the smell of lavender oil. Mix a part of lavender oil in with water in a spray bottle and spray directly on to your skin. It smells way better than most Aerogard type sprays, is safe for the environment, and actually works! Hope this helps! :)
