How much oil do you add for every gallon of gas for lawnmowers?

Question:

Answers:
most lawnmowers have oil in the crankcase and you don't put oil in the gas. but if you have a 2 stroke engine you will need 2 ounces for every gallon.

My lawnmowers have never had the gas/oil mixed.
It depends on the motor, usually 32:1 for mowers but could be 40:1 or better yet ,check manufacturer's website. Is it a 2-cycle motor? Is there a seperate reservoir to hold just motor oil?
your lawnmower is not a 2 stroke engine. do not put oil in the gas. you will foul the plug. change oil in the crank a minimum of once a season
