PLEASE dont listen to the first response...that person was messing with you.Hamburger will instantly kill the venus fly trap.Yes it very good to feed the trap rolly polies and probably not ants to small.When you feed it very VERY gently move the food around inside it, the venus fly trap has to close all the, way make sure it is sealed air-tight. Fedd them things alive if you can.If not make sure to VERY gently move the food around until it has an air-tight seal on it.It only needs 4 bugs a month and takes 5-12 days to digest.
you can feed them bits of hamburger
They will digest just about anything that gets into their trap.
