Trek vs. pressure treated wood?

Question:I'm going to cut to the chase:

Right now we're headed towards buying Trex for redoing our deck. No problems there.

We live in Kansas, so the summers get HOT. From July-September, it's not unheard of for us to reach over 100 degrees. In our new house (THAT WE CLOSE ON TOMORROW!!) we are noticing that our deck won't have much shade.

How does Trex compare with pressure treated wood decks with heat retention?

In other words: if we were to walk barefoot across a Trex deck that had just spent a long time in the summer sun, would we be as burned as with pressure treated wood?

Answers:
The Trex is denser, and will absorb more heat. The pressure treated wood has air pockets in the wood fibers, and will not absorb as much heat.
Both will scorch your bare feet.
Plant deciduous trees on the south side of your deck or home if possible. Put up a lattice over the deck and cover with an open-weave cloth that allows heat to rise up and out of the cloth.
