How do you kill a bumblebee?
Question:I have about 10 bumblebees that fly around my house. They never seem to land so I can't step on them, also since their are so many I'm not sure if when I try to kill one, the rest will attack. Help they are always fighting and flying around they scare the heck out of me.

You musta missed the news! Bees are dieing and the reason has yet to be established. Please do not kill them. have the removed. Call your local zoo. They should be able to give you the number of a bee grower in your area.
If the bees die out, then so will man., as they are the main pollinators for fruits and veggies. Scientists believe that human population could only survive about 4 years without bees!
LOL! i hate bees -.- try raid, my best friend in the summer time hah...
I have a fool proof way for you not to be attacked. Have someone else kill them.
You must find the nest. It may be underground or in a tree or even in the house. It is best to hire an exterminator to do this job.
I grew up in a capture and release household and would consider a bumble bee too big to kill anyway. I doubt they'll swarm you if you try to catch one, just use a butterfly or small fish net, transfer the captured bee(s) to a large paper bag and take them someplace else to live. Why kill them?
Just an interesting tidbit. The Bumbles that "dive bomb" you, sometimes actually bonking themselves off your head or shoulder, or weave back and forth menacingly in front of you...those are males. And it's all bluff. You heard me, Bluff. They don't even have stingers.
Only the females have stingers, and they are all business, gathering necter and don't bother people at all.
It's bizarre, but true.
It's also true that knowing the aggressive, bluffing males are not even capable of stining, will probably not help you if you're terrified of them.

You need to find out exactly where they are coming in. You can kill all you want inside the house, but that won't solve the problem. Find the SOURCE!! Once you do, spray the outside with liquid SEVEN, available at any Home Depot. Good luck. Regards-Bob.
I heard the bees were leaving because of cell phones? hmmm you can try talking to your buds for hours next to your bees orrrrrrr one sure way to kill them on contact is with gasoline but at 3 bucks a gallon raid might be cheaper and less dangerous :) Hope this helps
Bumblebees are beautiful. Leave a door open and hope for the best.!~
