Help!! Can't get cleaner off of floor!?

Question:I took some great advice from some posters and cleaned my kitchen floors with Vinegar and Baking Soda. But it left a white powder all over the floor and we have mopped four times and cannot get it up! Any suggestions? Can I safely now use bleach on the floor after I have used vinegar?? The floor still smells of vinegar! Thanks!

You should not have combined them both...I have a feeling some not so nice people gave you that advice, I`ve heard of them being used separately, but the only thing i`ve heard of them being used for was a vinegar-baking soda grenade...

That's one of the things I dislike about some people here. They give advice or answer questions without having a clue what they're talking about. I really makes me sick.

Don't forget vinegar is acid.. it can corrode many materials.

I have the feeling you ruined your kitchen floor. I wouldn't use bleach. It might make it worse.. if that's possible.

Do you have a tile floor? I think the 'white powder' comes from the tiles. Just keep trying with water until all the vinegar is gone. Not an easy task, I'm sorry.
