How can i get rid of Slugs from my house?

Question:Each morning that i come down to my kitchen I find some new slug trails. I have been seeing the trails since i moved into the house in October but have only ever seen one slug. The problem is getting worse with trails running up the walls and onto the ceiling. They have now started to get into my veg draw and are eating my carrotts.

Any ways to track them down or make my house slug proof will be appreciated.

hope this helps..mainly for the garden but u could adapt the method to ur home! I had slugs in a rented property I once lived in and I understand what you are going through..we ound the best method was to run duct tape around the skirting board and any cracks in the ball and under the doors and to put salt everywhere although it doesnt look attractive!

put salt or slug pellets around the bottom of the door
Build salt walls around the points the trials come from, or buy a cat.
Salt around the door definitely works for us
Lager in a shallow dish.and pellets from the garden centre.
give em beer an catch them when their to drunk to run away and try keeping a rabbit in the draw he won't let anyone near the carrots !! trust
move
salt is probably safest indoors especially if you have kids and pets.
Kick em out and tell them to get a job
