I messed around with the wiring on my sprinkler system. Now I cannot get the timer to work. How do I fix it.
Question:The sprinkler system is a Rain Bird ESP-6TM. I have 4 water different water stations. They work because I can still turn them on by hand.

First off... why did you mess with the wires?? And where did you mess them (at the timer or at the valves)??
There are two wires for each valve. One wire from each valve (doesn't matter which of the two) needs to be connected to the common wire (generally the white wire). And the common wire hooks up to the common on the timer. The other wire from each valve will connect to each station on your timer... 1, 2, 3, and so on.
If you connect the wires correctly and the valves still don't work, then check the programming. Try to turn them on from the timer. Choose "manual operation". If they still don't come on then check the wire and replace it.
Normally timers don't go bad for a very long time... 90% of the time its the wire and the programming. This should pretty much solve your issue. If not call a landscaper or sprinkler repair in your area. Going rate where I am is about $150 for labor.
