Is it ok to sing to your plant?

Question:You know how people talk to their plants? Well, that seems kinda stupid to me. I have my plant sitting right next to me. Can I sing to it? Will it have the same effect?

Answers:
I think it is beneficial to the plants. I once read an article that indicated that sounds do affect plants. They experimented with classical music and rock music. The plants that were placed in front of speakers emanating rock music began to grow away from the source of the music and began to look sickly. The plants that were placed in front o the speakers emanating classical music, began to grow towards the speakers and thrived.

Just dont let the neighbours hear you.
As long as you stay on key and it isn't Country.
Verbal ressonance seems to have an effect on everything. It seems to me that a good pitch and tone can be appreciated by everything. So if you can sing and if you like to...then sing your heart out, because it won't hurt.
Talk or sing all you are really doing is giving it CO2, but you would have to do it for hours to have any real effect. So its kinda silly but sing like no one is watching if you want to.
Singing to your plant is fine. I talk to all of my plants and I sing to them to. The plants don't care if you are in tune or not. Yes it has the same effect, the plants take the Carbon Dioxide from your breath and turn it into oxygen. Don't let any body tell you that you are crazy either. Plants love to be sang to.
um yea but dont sing heavy metal or rock
Not if your name is Sanjaya !
BTW, tell Paula (the plant sitting next to you), Get back to work, It's finals week LOL
