How can I remove paint on my deck?
Question:Is there any way that I can remove paint on my deck other than sanding. My goal is to get down to the bare-wood, and then stain the deck. I appreciate your time and knowledge

don't abuse your car with a power washer, that is crazy. The power washer will work great on the deck but be carefull with your siding.
A power washer should do the trick. You can rent them by the day. If you have vinyl siding you can use it on that as well and get more for your money. While you're at it, wash your car.
Use a power washer. I removed about 3 layers of paint from my front and back porches last summer this way. It was a heck of a lot easier than scraping. It did take some time , so be patient. I managed to get down to the bare concrete.
