Why are the leaves dropping off my walnut tree?
Question:
Answers:
Because the squirrels are busy running up and down the branches collecting the walnuts and hiding them in your garden!
It depends a lot on where you are and the weather you've been experiencing. My parents live in Texas, where they have lots of pecan trees, and where it's been very dry for a couple of summers, until this past spring, when they were INUNDATED. Now oak and pecan trees in the area are having trouble because their root systems were damaged by the preceeding two years of drought.
In short - without more detail, it's impossible to say. Check with a horticulturist or nursey in your area, and good luck.
