The best and easiest way to rid your home of ants is to go to your local hardware store and ask for "TERRO". It is in a clear bottle that comes in a cardboard box. It's very inexpensive and easy to use. All you have to do is put a dime sized spot of TERRO on a piece of thin cardboard where the ants congregate and they will be attracted to its sweetness and will carry the TERRO (poison) back to their nest. It won't be long before all the ants are gone. This is a product that has been around for years and it works great. I always keep a bottle of it on hand. Good luck!
Put an ant trap in their path. They walk through it, bring it back to the queen in the nest, and you'll see- they vanish. I've always had success with that method.

You need a bait killer, and Lowes or home depot there is a good one named Once and done I believe about 20 bucks.
get a shovel...dig out ants from one antbed, and put them in another ant bed ! Take some out of THAT antbed, and put THEM in the previous one. It works...they fight till they kill each other off ! Try to get beds that are far from each other . They can't be "connected" underground.
if you don't want to use chemicals put down baby powder in their path, it's so fine they can't walk on it and it stops them from coming in. Great if you have animals that you don't want to eat the poison.
Antex granules sold in supermarkets. Must be this brand tho. Also talcum powder if you can see the trail, they wont cross it.wont kill em tho, but the Antex will!
