I intend using a buthane bottled gas for my patio heater, will i really notice much difference ...?

Question:Will i notice much difference when using this type of bottled gas, compared to using the 'recommended' propane gas. I don't intend using it in very low temparatures like 0 degrees. the patio heater is fitted with the right connection for a buthane cylinder.

Answers:
The only diff is the connector

REREAD your instruction manual for this heater, and see what is the RIGHT gas and use only that.
If propane is recommended then that is the gas that the burners in the heater have been optimised for. Butane may give unpredictable results.
This might not directly answer your question, but butane does'nt work below about freezing point of air. Propane works well below freezing point. Most appliances work on both types of gas, The connecting regulator adjusts the pressure to suit.
Caution! Before connecting be sure you find out if the tiny hole or orfice the gas feeds through is safe for the different pressures you will be using on both types. Pressured gas uses a smaller orfice than house pressure which isn't as great.. Be sure you have adequate venalation also' Check with Gas service rep.
Butane will freeze in winter, and is affected by low temps above freezing, propane will not. The fittings will be the same.
