Having Bug problems what can I do?
Question:Hi, my bug problem began about 3 months ago. We have seen more spiders, parmedo bugs and beetles lately. Only problem is when we see them they are in the house. We have a bad ant problem too.
The thing is we never find them anywhere except the bathroom and my room. My room and the bathroom share the same wall.
My window over looks the street. I find them all the time and I cant seem to get rid of them! My brother does not see it as a problem because he never has to deal with them only I do. What can I do that will help rid my room and my whole house of these guys?
I mean my room is imaculate, so its not like its a pig stye. Also we live in a manufactured home so that might also have something to do with it. Please tell me any ideas you might have fore getting rid of these guys?? Thanks!

There's a product by Ortho called Home Defense which can be used both inside and outside the house and is effective against many insects. That should help.
My ex-mother-in-law would advise you to pour salt all over your floors but I don't think that is what will do the trick.
I would look along the walls for cracks and seal them up with painter's chalk.
just buy a bug spray and spray anywhere you think there are bugs
I don't use any pesticides and have been very successful controlling pests.
#1 Caulk or use that foam expander stuff to fill all cracks & crevices. Especially that big hole where the water drains from your sinks. Carefully inspect every window for fit.
#2 Prune all plants so that they do not touch the house.
#3 Do not kill spiders or wasps. They are your friends. Plant flowers that will attract them. Most are attractive.
#4 Attract birds by adding a bird feeder or bath.
#5 To track ants to their point of entry (and nest), put out a small dab of jelly where you usually see them. The next morning you can just follow them and take care of business.
#5 I presume you are somewhere warm, have you thought about buying some geckos or lizards to release in your yard?
#6 Get a cat. Mine loved to catch those palmetto bugs!
