How can I prevent the ant takeover this year?
Question:Every year it seems my second floor apartment gets infested with ants, no matter how much I clean and avoid crumbs on the floor.
I'm a pacifist and don't want them to come at all so I don't have to kill them. Besides, it's easier to just prevent them from coming in in the first place, I just don't know what to do.
Does anybody have any tips?

Are you serious Happykid? If you don't use pesticides the ants will continue to annoy you.
Three years ago I moved into a condo that had ants. On a neighbors advice I used TERRO(available at Wal*Mart) once. I haven't seen an ant since.
