Lock my grill up?

Question:I just bought a new grill and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to lock it up. I do not mean lock it up from being stolen (i am doing that as well, I do not live in bad neighborhood, I just want to be cautious) i am talking about locking it so no one can use it when i am not around. I am afraid my neighbors will use it when i go out of town. I do not feel like coming home to a dirty grill and/or no propane. I was thinking of locking the lid down but there is no bar or anything below to lock it to? Do you guys have any suggestions on what i can do? i would appreciate it.

Answers:
If it has a lid handle and the storage compartment below that has vertical handles to open it like ours does, the steering wheel locks used for cars will work. If it only has a lid handle that is horizontal with open space beneath the grill, you can thread a cable lock through the handle around the grill. When I lived in a condo with a community area for grills, I also ran a cable lock through the propane tank because that kept disappearing and was costly to keep replacing.

If you must lock it down, you can always use a bike chain, or a regular chain with a padlock. Run it through the cover handle and loop around some other think like the gas tank handle.
TAKE THE TANK OFF WHEN U ARE NOT USING IT AND TAKE THE GRADES OFF, THEY WONT BOTHER YOU RELAX IN PEACE BROTHER
Cover and tie or chain it at the bottom.
I suggest that you are being paranoid.
I have never hear of anyone sneaking over to the neighbors house and having a secret barbecue.
Put it in your garage
Simple solution. when you leave , pull the cooking grate out (bars you cook on)
