Growing Tomatoes?

Question:I'm planning to use container gardening to grow tomatoes this summer. Do they have to be outside at a certain point to be pollinated? Or can I keep them inside in a sunny spot and have them grow fine?

Answers:
They can be manually pollinated. Since tomato flowers contain both the female and male parts they can be manually pollinated. Just shake the mature flowers by hand and that will pollinate them. Do this several times a day for several days.

You can keep them in the greenhouse, if you take them outside they won't bear as much fruit and the fruit will come on a bit later in the season.
no shade. they need to be in the sun always and have nothing directly next to them cause because you never no how big there going to get
Along as it is a VERY sunny spot, inside will be fine.
Inside is okay if you have the room. Tomatoe plants can take up a lot of space.

There are some dwarf plants that are just fine indoors.
You can keep them inside, after they start to flower, tap the branch like an old lady tapping the ash off a cigarette
