What kind of rodent nest is it?
Question:I was cleaning out my shed and I found a nest (most likely made by a rodent) on the floor in a corner. It was made of leaves shaped into a cocoon. There were rodent type droppings and a smell of urine. There were acorns all over the place. Is this a rat's nest or a squirrel's nest? I've been trying to figure it out. All the info I've found seems to point to a squirrel's nest but squirrels do not typically make nests on the ground but rats do. I'm trying to figure out the best method for making sure the rodent doesnt come back. Please help!
