Im need the cheapest food in connecticut for rats?

If you have an Aldi or Sav-A-Lot (or any discount grocery store) nearby get them corn flakes (I pay 99 cents a box). Keep a bowlful in their cage at all times. Once a day add some raw carrots, bananas, a few little cubes of cheese and any starch (cooked potatoes, leftover fries, vanilla wafers, graham carckers without cinnamon, whole wheat bread, etc) Mine have lived for two years on this diet with no problems.
I get them Cheerios and Chex sometimes for a change.
