Is there such a thing as slide insurance for a home? Or does that fall under flood or other types of insurance

Question:

Answers:
no. There is no such thing as slide insurance. a couple of years ago, my town had some really bad rains and consequently, bad slides. Several houses on stilts had enough of their stilts washed away to be condemned. The occupants still had to pay the mortgages because insurance wouldn't cover them.

flood!!
I'm assuming you are talking about a children's slide...? If that's the case, you can probably buy a "rider" to your homeowners policy. I have an in-ground pool that is enclosed, and I carry a large rider to my homeowners policy in case a neighborhood child breaks into the pool area to swim and then ends up drowning. If you use Allstate or State Farm, I'm sure you can get one for a fairly modest cost. With a pool it's a must...I wouldn't want to lose my life savings because of someone else's stupidity.
