What are little tiny red bugs called?
Question:They are pinpoint sized red bugs, barely visible. They almost look like little red mites. I saw two in my house yesterday.

They are most likely spider mites. They thrive on dying plants (when the leaves start to turn yellow). Do you have unhealthy houseplants? Also, they hate water, so spritzing with water will shake them loose.

im having the same problem on my porch..seems to be billions of them...they are either Velvet Mites ...or running mites..both of which are harmless to humans..the running mites eat little antropods..and the velvet mites eat baby grasshoppers and or the eggs...
velvet mites come out after a Good rain in the dessert area...and the Running mites come out when there is food nearby..typically in hot weather
