What is the best way to erase permanent marker from a smooth brick surface?
Question:Obviously I want to erase the marker without causing discoloration to the brick.

i would say expo marker because i have tried getting rid of permanant marker with an expo marker and it worked
Goo gone or Ultra fine sandpaper.
Hair spray
Try Mr. clean magic erase sponge...It will take Marks off anything
sand blast.May have to do hole house .Most likly needs it.
Use Hand Sanitizer, this stuff will remove ink and it doesn't smell.
Rubbing alcohol should do the trick. It worked on my pergo floor for permanent marker, and didn't cause any discoloration.
