Assuming you mean western Washington, try windmill palms. They're the ones that are kind of fan shaped. They're very hardy, though if the winters continue to get as cold as the last one you'll need to mulch it and cover it with a sheet when the temps get below freezing, or grow it in a pot and move it indoors or into the garage.
