Household chore ideas?
Question:I need to make some money fast. I'm 13 so I can't do some things like mow the lawn yet or babysit. But what kinds of chores can I do around the house? I can't come up with anything.
Answers:
You can offer to vacuum, dust, any cleaning sorts of things. Things like setting the table and washing the dishes are always appreciated, too. You could also help out outside by gardening or weeding the gardens. If you want to earn some money, I would suggest asking for a weekly allowance in exchange for doing chores each week. You should make a schedule to follow, like this:
Monday-Empty dishwasher, set table, dust.
Tuesday-Empy dishwasher, set table, vacuum.
Wednesday-Empty dishwasher, set table, clean kitchen.
Thursday-Empty dishwasher, set table, clean bathrooms.
Friday-Empty dishwasher, set table, dust/vacuum.
Saturday-Empty dishwasher, set table, weed/gardens.
Sunday-Empty dishwasher, set table.
That's just an example. If you make a schedule, it'll be easier to stick to it and you can check off what you've done. I'd suggest asking your mom or dad what they'd like done around the house. Good luck earning some extra money! =)

Oh, and laundry is always appreciated. Sadly, my parents don't pay me to do my laundry. =(
I'm sure any parent would be THRILLED if you cleaned the bathrooms. Dust. Vacuum. Do the dishes.

Clean the bathroom, vacuum, wash the car, dishes, clean your room, wash the dog
do the dishes, help w/laundry, take out the trash, clean the house!! etc.
based on what I did as a teen to get extra money, there is alot..laundry (or at least seperating clothes based on wash loads), dishes, raking leaves/weeding the garden, vacuuming, sweeping, moping, toilet/bathroom cleaning, dusting, putting clothes away, cleaning the garage. Just think of anything your parents hate to do and do that...they will appreciate it.
I don't see why you are too young for babysitting, at least for those a little older than infants. Take a class on how and make sure you do a tip top job for the first few times you babysit as word, good or bad, will quickly get around the neighborhood.
You could also cut grass, you just need a self propelled mower.
No one likes to wash their own windows, learn how and offer to do others.
