What are your favorite types of fertilizer? For lawns, flowers, houseplants, trees, shurbs, etc.?
Question:I have assorted fertilizers that I use for all the plants around the house but I'm looking for recommendations on the very best ones. In addition to any ones that I might be missing. Thanks!

I Like Miracle Grow for my "Inside Plants" and I use Cow Manure Compost, for most of my Outside Plants. I have 1 Palm Tree (I Live in The Hot South) that I use Epsom Salt and Water on. They all Look pretty Healthy, so I must be doing it right..
I have always used the Miracle Gro fertilizers made specifically for what ever it is that needs fertilized. I live in a very hot and arid state, Arizona, and this seems to be the only thing that will keep my plants alive, lush and thriving. My yard is the show stopper of the neighborhood and I do not have much time at all to deal with it. I owe it all to Miracle-Gro! You could try some of what you are using on one plant and Miracle Gro on another just like it and see that the advertisments are true. The Miracle-Gro plant will be healthier and twice the size of the other and with triple the blooms if it is a blooming plant. Just a test before you change out all of your others but I bet you love it as well as your plants do!
Ammonium Sulphate. I use it on plants, bushes, lawn, veggies, trees and even indoor plants. It's cheap - about $3.00 a bag, and it works great on everything. I've used it for 11 years by recommendation from my dad who has used it for 40+ years.
I like Scotts for the grass and other green plants and shrubs (it comes in a box, it's granules), and Miraclegro for the flowers and houseplants (it comes in power in a bag, or as a liquid).
i have always used fish fertilizer, like my dad has done for 54 years.it may be a little old fashion, having to mix the stuff, but i sure get compliments
My mother and I both love everything Schultz makes for plants-She has an acre of incredible lush beauty in the nasty heat of Phoenix-her garden is like a park, show piece, with plants from all over the world. I am bringing back a terribly neglected enchanted fixer upper yard with Schultz products in the Antelope Valley Dessert in So Cal., and am so pleased with the transformation results.
Chickens! They produce the best fertilizer I have ever found. If you can't have or get chickens go to your nearest feedstore and ask about those who raise chickens and offer to take the poo.
It is natural and pretty safe for the environment.

Oh yeah wear a mask, you do not want to breath in dried poop. Yuck!
