Is there such a plant as the "japanese peace lily?" And if so, is it the same as a normal peace lily?

Question:After seeing Hot Fuzz, I wanted to look into the japanese peace lily, but when I searched the net, I found nothing. Is there really such a plant?

Answers:
In all my studies I have never heard of one. However, like most common names, it's possible somewhere some group of people call some plant by that name. The only ones I've ever seen are the Spathiphyllum variety.
