What central heating is cheaper to run oil or lpg?

i pay £720 for oil a year and it looks like i am going to have to increase that amount.my house is a 5 bed detatch.i still would not change from oil to lpg.

I have lpg heating and find it very expensive at the moment - however it used to be cheaper than oil, and could be again depending on what happens in the Middle East. It is a lot cleaner than oil and is much kinder for the environment. I am baffled as to why the government doesn't ensure lpg costs much less than oil in order to get more people to use it.
