If moths like light so much, why dont they come out during the day?

Question:why dont they all fly towards the sun for instance?

Answers:
the light from the sun is not silver and moths like silver light and also because they will have much more chance of surviving in the night

Because the other creatures, such as birds, will easy spot them and eat them! The subdued moonlight or man made lights make it a lot safer.
the light from the sun is not silver, moths like silver light
someone told me once that moths aren't attracted to the light, they're trying to get to the dark behind the light. I don't know if thats true, maybe they're just supid flting things!
Because nobody has their lights on during the day lol
