Any tips to make a rocking chair quit squeaking?

Question:I have a Lazy Boy rocker that is under a year old. I rock fairly frequently in it, and it has begun to squeak. I can' tell if it's the spring or the wood making the squeak. Any tips?

Answers:
Spray a little WD40 on the metal part underneath the chair it should take care of it. Always worked on mine. If you don't have WD40 try a little cooking oil on your finger rub it on the metal, that works too.

spary some WD-40 on that chair
It's probably metal parts making the squeak. Use 3 in 1 oil on any joints of the metal. WD-40 works but has a smell.
