Question:I have continuous fruit fly's by my kitchen sink, I have no fruit on the counter, I keep scrubbing to no avail
Answers:
They could be coming from the pipes. I had it happen to me once and was told to use draino as if clearing a clog. It worked for me.
a good quality fly swatter should work!
I so know this answer... its reallly works!! Get a big bowl or whatever...put viniger and dial soap mixed togeather.they will alll fly into and die!! I PROMISE!!
fruit flys hate the smell of bleach so clean the counter tops with some bleach they should go away it worked for me
There is something causing it. Look under the sink, a forgotten potato? even a raisin will call all fruit flies. As soon as you locate the source they will go away.
vinegar trust me if you want flies get honey if you dont put out vinegar and also maybe a lumberjack who playes the flute
They are the worst! Make sure you empty your garbage, clear your disposal (if you have one). The best thing to attract them is cider vinegar..get a container and put some cider vinegar in it then make a funnel out of paper and tape it into place in the opening of the container. They will go in but have a hard time getting out. At that point you can just cover the container and shake to drown them.
Well it means u have food in ur sink, try cleaning it out with some vinegar and baking soda, it will fizz up and clean it really well with out the harmful chemicals in drano and stuff...
fruit flies are attracted to the fructose in overly ripe fruit. Do you have a garbage disposal where organic matter is accumulating? Try vinegar and very hot water. A more extreme solution would be to use a drain cleaner such as Drano just in case your problem is emanating from below the area where vinegar and hot water would be effective.
