For a hanging strawberry plant.??


Question:1. Please remember that i have a HANGing strawberry plant.
2. They have runners on them. Which when i look at them looks like healthly leaves and wormy thingys on them..(they are not real worms just a describtion of what i see)
3. How and where do i cut them? Meaning the Runners..,why? because i cannot plant them in the ground still attached to my HANGing strawberry plant...so what can i do?
4. Can i place the runners in water to from roots..or in pot with soil?

Answers:
runners will attach themselves if you place them on top of soil,while still connected to the plant.
