How to clean an oil spill on concreate?

The kitty litter thing works well, if you still have some residue you can get a cleaning solution for oil on concrete at Home Depot or Lowes in the paint priming section.
Use some kitty litter, the cheap clay stuff like tidy cat or jonny cat, don't use the clumping kind. Sprinkle it over the spill, and then grind it into the concrete. Go back over it with a broom and you should be fine.
Grind kitty litter into the spot.do the twist on it for some time. Sweep up the litter. Get Dawn and scrub it into the stain to get the greasy oil out. clean that off and you should be fine.
Sand or plain old dirt will absorb a lot of the oil, especially if you sweep the sand back and forth over the oil.
Let the dirt set on the spill, and it will absorb more. Sometimes, sawdust, or cement makes goo adsorbent material.
I usually use some sort of solvent, like detergent or paint thinner, to do final cleaning.
Simple green full strenght--rinse with water
Unused cat litter. Dump a cup at a time on the oil spill and with your foot crush it into the concreate. Do this untill the oil spill is covered. Then you leave it there for a couple of hours. I cleaned for the military I know.
