Wasp bait?
Question:What is a good wasp attractant with which to bait a trap? Thanks.

on one of the traps i bought last year,the directions said to put in a small piece of raw meat. it said to change it daily.it did a good job attracting the wasps.i changed the bait every other day.
I don't understand wherein you say "bait a trap". What do you plan to do with the wasps, take them to school for a dissecting?
If you're trying to get rid of a single wasp there is Raid spray for wasps. But if there is a nest (and sometimes you can't tell if it's a nest or not) then once you spray that they will all come out and get angry, chase and bite you and you'd make a quick run to the hospital. Here we have the pest control company come out and they smoke them out with pesticide.

Trick for outdoors/camping: Nail a strip of bacon to a tree. Place a bucket of water directly under where the bacon has been nailed. The wasps eat the bacon till they fall off into the water bucket and drown.
