What's the best and most cost effective way to keep deer from eating my flowers?

Try hooking up a motion detector light with a blasting radio in conjunction so that when they come into the vicinity to get blasted with lights and sounds.
It may be simpler to just piss on your flowers so that the smell keeps them away
you should try putting up a fence that could be decritive or if you dont like that get a dog that barks alot (deer are afraid of dogs)make sure you tie the dog up so it doesnt get lose and chase after a deer and try not to put the dog to close to any special plants they might dig it up
