How to I get rid of gnats in my kitchen?
Question:there are gnats flying around the kitchen and I am not sure where they are coming from. I have noticed that most of the time they are around the sink and my cabinets but I cannot get rid of them. I poured straight bleach down the sink but that did not work either. so please someone help me and tell me the best way to get rid of them and how to keep them away for good. Thanks

Hi there. I've had this problem too. Most of the time, it originates in your garbage disposal. Gnats breed in there, since its dark and wet and there are usually little bits of food for them to thrive on. Even if you aren't going to use it, run your disposal every day for at least 10-15 seconds, to kill off the bugs inside and the eggs left behind. Wipe down the sink, counter and insides of the cabinets with a bleach and water mixture every night for about a week, which will both take care of any lingering bug eggs, but also coat the legs of any that land on the counter, which will kill them.

there only gnats.they won't hurt you. just be thankful you've not got a RAT in yer kitchen!
put vinegar and baking soda down your drain every other day for a couple of weeks. That should eliminate your problem
