If you were a spider and someone sprayed you with RAID, what would it feel like?
Question:I guess the real question is how does RAID (or Black Flag, etc.) actually kill its victims? Does it cause them pain before they die?
Answers:
It shuts down their nervous system, paralyzes the muscles i.e. heart, lungs it is similar to the effect that nerve agents have on us humans.
Probably the same way Jews felt when they were put in gas chambers by the Nazis.
owww sizzle owwwww sizzle-- of course it hurts them, that's why they curl up
I don't think they experience pain. I think it is kinda like a bug high and they just pass out and die. Gnarles Barkleys video "gone daddy gone" shows what it's like when bugs get sprayed...very cute and funny.
Like the wicked witch melting in OZ. They sure squirm a lot before they die so it may be painful. How about taking them outside? They eat lots of aphids and other bugs.
A lot like the gas chamber.
you should pick them up with a paper towel and release them outside...maybe someday you might come back as a spider and the spider as a human and it might return the favor...
I believe it shuts everything down. The nervous system, the insides, and cuts off oxygen.
The wiggling around is the nervous system shutting down. When a person dies, their limbs usually quiver, even if they are chopped off... like if you lost your hand. It's just the nerves going crazy - yet there is no brain to recognize the nerves... so, your hand doesn't hurt, your arm does cause it's still connected to your brain.
Personally, I don't believe that bugs have "feelings". A fly can lose it's wing and still live... a spider can lose almost all of it's legs and still live - just as long as it can still eat.
However, the case... even if they do feel death, I'd much rather it be them than me! They're BUGS! Death to the bugs!
Cold, I know.
interesting question. I guess you would feel like if it had just rained caustic soda on you.
