A new porch or two weeks in jamaica?
Question:just moved house and would like a new porch building but would also like to go back to jamaica. what do you think?

When you come back from Jamaica...you will still have to do the porch. Personally I'd choose the porch and save Jamaica for another year.
Maybe you could compromise and do 1 week in Jamaica and the rest of the cash use to do the porch. Best of both worlds!!

Oh, I am sure Jamaica is wonderful, but a nice new porch will last long, add value to your home, give you a space to enjoy and improve the overall look of your home. When guests come to visit you will be a little prouder of your home.
New porch. While you could blow the money on a trip to Jamaica you would only get instant gratification (2 weeks worth) with a new porch you will have the gratification everytime you sit on it

Since it sounds like you already went to Jamica go ahead and build the porch I have a great big porch and I love it, you can always go to Jamica next year. ENJOY UR PORCH!!!
Jamaica.go on go for it...2 weeks in the sun seeing family...it will be great...then when your rested and full of memories you can save for your porch and when its built you can sit on it and think about the great time you had in Jamaica.send me a postcard pleeeease

I think you should get a porch, then after it start saving up for a holiday. By the time of the holiday comes, you will feel more grateful and you will look back and think it was all worth it.
Whereas is you go on holiday first then when you come back you will be dreaded at the fact that you have to save up for a porch.
