Ok to run 2 portable air conditioners at the same time?

Question:I have a portable air conditioner that came with my apartment. Unfortunately even if I left it on 24/7/365 on high, it couldn't keep up with the heat, it's just not big enough. I was thinking about getting another one, as well, but was wondering if that would be practical.

Would 2 of those things running at the same time use too much electricity or blow the circuits?

Answers:
It should be fine to run two units as long as you have them plugged into different circuits.

As far as practical. It would be cheaper to run one larger unit vs. two for the sake of your power bill.

Just make sure they are not on the same circuit.

Other than that, it should work just fine.

However, you'll probably poop a ice cube when you see your electricity bill!
