I need a way to seal asbestos that was used to put down tile that is stained with cat pee.?

Question:

Answers:
If you get the asbestos really wet then you should be able to just scrape it up. If you don't want to do that, then you need to get another piece of tile but the cat stink will still be there. Asbestos is not harmful unless it is allowed to become airborne. That is why you have to super saturate the area to properly remove any asbestos containing material. Did you know that asbestos is in a ton of every day things like, your brakes, linoleum, some sheet rock, popcorn ceilings and many other things we don't think about?

Do you know that asbestos is dangerous and can cause cancer and other diseases? If it is not in a very good condition I would recommend having it removed by a specialist contractor. If it is in good condition (apart from staining) it could be encapsulated with a specialist paint I've used Idenden ET150, however I suggest that you have the asbestos tested to find out which kind of asbestos it is as different types require different action some types MUST be removed by specialist contractors only, and disposed of as special waste.

YES IT IS HARMFUL, PROTECT YOURSELF
Any type of sealer should do. It is not that asbestos is dangerous(no more than lead-they still make fishing weights, wheel weights, ballast and other using lead.
You just don't want to inhale asbestos dust.(or eat lead)
