Has anyone fallen foul of the sweet little old lady act?
Question:I'm in the midst of a boundary dispute with a neighbour that was started by her being petty and has been kept up by her and her friends. She's in her late 70's and is a force to reckoned with but as soon as she has an audience, she turns on "the sweet little old lady act" making me out to be the aggressor. It's got to the point where the sale of my house has been deliberately derailed. Has anyone come across this and what did they do.
Answers:
Get your video recorder running , tape her then get an injunction .
I don't know what you're arguing about - it probably isn't worth it.
Wait. You are complaining because a "little old lady" is picking on you. Of course she is going to make you out to be the aggressor, she probably learned a thing or two in those eight decades, and one was how to get her way.
oh yes,
sounds exactly like an old neighbour of mine (for want of a better word)
had the same problem would insult me to high heaven then talk all nice nice when any1 else was around,
until one day i recorded her and played it back, all the swearing and insults that made me just want to slap the living daylights out of her,
but then who,s children;s mum would be in jail (mine)
low and behold, this did help sort out my problem,
she was still a b**** but she knew her place.
Used to have a alcoholic pensioner neighbour who terrorised me when she was drunk. She smashed my car window with a spanner. She got away with it. I later took both her and her husband to court for continued bad behaviour I won.
