What ideas do you have to get rid of aphids on my broccoli plants?

Buy some ladybugs! Some garden supply stores sell them, or you can order online. They are much better at taking care of pests than any spray you could use, plus you really don't want a bunch of spray on something you are planning on eating. I have used ladybugs for years for aphid control. Aphids are their favorite food.
I have seen that Ants use aphids like humanity does with cattle. If you have excessive amounts of aphids an Ant colony may have moved into your area recently.
