What is the best temperature and humidity for storing books and papers?

Question:I want to keep certain soft cover books, hard cover books, old newspapers, magazines, etc. stored in such a way that will cause the least deterioration. Is there a temperature and humidity range that is best for storing these items?

Answers:
You need a low humidy cool location. Many of the historic houses that let you take tours are always cool (probably around 60) with very little to no humidity.

Store in a inert atmosphere at low temperatures.
