How do you estimate pool size in gallons?

Question:

Answers:
call any pool supply place give them the length , width and depth and they will tell you.

you have to do some math. 3.14 x Radius squared x height will give you cubic feet. Take the amount of cubic feet and multiply it by 7.48-this will give you how many gallons the cylinder (pool) will be if it was full to the top. If you have a rectangular pool, it's easier = Length x width x height x 7.48.

If it's an oval pool..you're screwed.

I don't know that formula.
