What are some good low maintenance patio plants??

Question:depending on where I place it , it can get lots of sun or about half sun half shade, i am pretty clueless about plants so it needs to be pretty low-mainteance...i just want something green and pretty

Answers:
Do you like tomatoes? Or green peppers? Just stick 'em in a pot, add a cage, water 'em, and watch 'em grow. And, on down the road..eat 'em!! Seriously though, if you are thinking "flowers", gerainiums are a good choice. They do well in pots and come in many varieties and colors. Some good hanging plants would be wax begonias or fushia. Or if all you want is just something green and pretty try hostas. They come in several varieties, love shade to part shade, and only bloom once a year. But they stay nice and green all summer. Also, they are perrenials so they will come up on their own every year. And all you gotta do is water 'em. How's that for low maintenance??!!

begonias are good - they just need to be watered once in awhile, but they're not fussy.
Money plant, an auspicious plant, good looking and not too big ~2 to 3feet. Flowers dried that resembles gold coins.

Geraniums are very easy, they like the sun. Impatiens for shady areas are very easy.
