If you are ok with sending them to the great beyond, then check the hardware store for an attachment that fits on the tailpipe of your car. It is designed especially for getting rid of underground pests. You fit it to your exhaust pipe and then attach a garden hose to the other end. Shove the garden hose down in one of the holes, and let the car run for the amount of time it says on the box. The carbon monoxide form your car should kill them underground or at least run them out.
