i fu*king hate earwigs

Nothing you can do about this except close the door or install a screen door. Bugs can still get in through a screen door too so you're really out of luck on that one. Like it or not bugs are here to stay and will be long after we're gone!
A screen door?
Well you could get orlando bloom to come and kill them all with his sekc powers.
Duck tape?
Haha, yeh earwigs are nasty.
Im just you could get some bug or insect repellant from a local store or shopping center to spray around the backdoor and on the walls/floor!
Are you using a screen? If so, spray around the door foundation with bug spray (you can pick it up cheap at Home Depot). If you are leaving the door wide open without a screen you are pretty much out of luck.
Have an A/c or a fan blowing instead .
Turn off the light near that door. That or invest in a screen. A bug Zapper might also work for the flying ones.
a plug in bug zapper , a stinky candle that makes evy1 leave, or write a guest list.. YA NAMES NOT DOWN, YA NOT COMIN IN
You're like me...I hate flittery bugs when trying to sleep or use my pc. See previous posts...
For my window I got a blind. That's helped let the air in and the bugs are too stupid to negotiate it...but always the odd one.
Give the bugs an identity/pass card. Will help you get used to the idea in advance.
It is really why God invented Storm Doors in the first place. I have the same problem, but am too cheap to purchase and too lazy to install. Much easier and cheaper to buy a fly swatter and complain! Although, I am not sure my wife agrees with my assessment.
i did`nt know spaceships had back doors
turn the light inside off and the light outside on because the bugs are attracted to the light. that is what i do to keep mosquitoes out everytime i open the door to feed my dog at night.
Maybe putting some kind of curtain or netting up across the door. I have that problem with my window. Lots of moths come in, but I just let them come in and sit in my room. We're all just sitting here.
yes keeep door shut.
They are creepy looking. But what do you expect if you leave your door open. Dang, there are screen doors available that have no hinges. You just install a Velcro strip around the door frame, and stick the screen to the Velcro. Problem solved. They aren't expensive either.
On our planet we use screen doors for this. If you already have one, get some weather stripping for the edges. This ought to stop those nasty alien eating earwigs.
why have you got your door open at night . well try a fine net or sum thing on that line , jeves fluid is very good but it stains so be careful , ie eyes skin ect good luck
Switch off the light and sit in the dark.
use a screen door
My MIL gave me stuff that was like velcro tape & net curtain, so I only had to have the netting it up when I needed it (ie at night when the beasts are about!)
BTW did you know earwigs can fly!!!??? B*stards!
