How do I get rid of bugs in my bedroom?
Question:Our house had an attached garage that was turned into a bedroom, and my husband and I LOVE it cause it's huge! But, we find that there are a lot of "garage type" bugs like ants, spiders and rolly pollys in the room. I have been using raid but it hasn't helped much.
I have an EXTREME fear of bugs! So I'm wondering, what is an effective way to keep the bugs out?
Thanks in advance.
Answers:
Since You converted it, the bugs were probably ALREADY THERE, You just never saw them (they like to hide usually).
Use a "bug bomb" 1st, then spray or use "broadcast granuals" around the outside of the 'garage'.
try spraying inside and outside the area with liquid seven, thats what we use in our garage and it does a good job
Remove all sources of food/water and they will leave on their own.
Seal the foundation cracks good and hire an exterminator.
Move out the projects!
you may have to call in the exterminator to spray lt down
get your house sprayed each month by a professional to keep them gone.
Call an exterminator.
Get a fogger and "bomb" the area.
Follow instructions carefully.
If you have "red" ants, they are there for a purpose. Usually if they detect food, they, (as in many of them) will go after it.
Also lay down some diazinon on the outside as a border around the former garage.
Lets see them trudge across that.
