How do I get rid of foxes??
Question:Because I feed birds, I also have a number of squirrels in my backyard as well. The local foxes have figured this out, and have began feasting on the squirrels. Short of stopping the feeding of birds, is there any way to get rid of the foxes? I have a dog, and I know that foxes can carry scabies. Thanks

I think those cat deterants work on foxes. They make a very high-pitched noise that most humans can't hear but the foxes can, and it scares them away.
Buy a shotgun!
buy a pellet gun and shoot them in the butt each time they come around
you don't. You feel priviledged to have such beautiful creatures in the garden.
You could capture one and have a pet fox.
That is a tough one. Maybe you could put the bird feeder high up so the squirrels and birds don't have to touch the ground? I don't think foxes can climb trees or fences very well.
Some people would shoot them but I don't think I could do that.. they are just trying to survive like everything else.
The same thing happened in my mom's garden except it was with hawks and not foxes. When I was visiting Florida one time my mom took me outside on the porch to show off her new bird feeders and all of a sudden a hawk swooped down and all we heard was a weird squeal and then nothing but feathers everywhere... ouch..
