How weird is this?! I was drinking ginger ale from a glass & the bottom of the glass fell out! Just fell out!?
Question:It was cracked a bit. I didn' think it was cracked all the way through. It's a logical explanation of course. But still a weird thing to happen, no?

Yes, that is an odd thing to happen. Was it cracked a little and just came out of the hot dishwasher? Then you added ice and soda? I bet that was a good shock! Thanks for sharing a good story.
aw. That would have been a fun experience. I often miss my mouth and a drink pours all over my shirt, but never has a glass given way to soda! sad, but cool...and yes, very weird.
If it was those cheap thin glasses that some people have I can believe it because it happened to me. Those really thin glasses are bad to wash in the sink also. I had a friend that was washing one and it just broke in the water. She had to go to the hospital and get stitches. Yes it is weird are you o.k.?
yeah it's kinda wierd. My dad told me a similar but even more weird story. Years ago, when the milk man used to bring glass bottles of milk to your house, My dad was a kid. He was putting some empty bottles on the pourch for the milk man to take, when he dropped one. It landed upright and didn't break. He reached down to move it and when his hand was about half an inch away, the darn thing exploded. How weird is that?
That is really weird. But of course if it was cracked a little then the ginger ale was just a little to much for that glass. Dont worry happens to alot of people.
I had a similar experience while drinking a pint of beer, the glass suddenly shattered and the beer spilled all over me. Weird eh!
